Project Details

Tadzio Jodlowski, Senior Lecturer in the  School of Tourism, Hospitality, and Events (STHEM), has developed weekly podcasts to accompany his Foundation Year lectures. Tadzio brings lots of different material into his podcasts, including interviews with experts and students, reflections on the topic covered in the lecture, and music. Each week’s podcast also features recordings from different locations to create a more engaging listening experience for students. In this short film, Tadzio talks through some of the tools he uses, and explains his approach.

The software used to create these podcasts is ‘Audacity’, which is available on the MMU Standard Platform. There is an extensive LinkedIn Learning Learning Audacity course for beginners which introduces the software in detail. MMU staff can access the coursewith their institutional login.
